Carnivals and Camping…
Please read the previous post as well – both are new!
So, last weekend we were finally home and ready to get caught up! I thought Ryan needed some time off after working the last two weekends so my sister came and we tried to give him a break. It didn’t totally work, but for the most part I think he was able to relax. Friday night we headed down to the mall to take Jamie to the little carnival that was in town. He had a good time riding the rides and playing a couple of games. Alex seemed to enjoy being outside too, so it was a good night for both of them! We spent the rest of the weekend doing normal weekend stuff and Ryan and I went to an anniversary party/vow renewal for our friends Randy and Alice. It was a lot of fun! The kids stayed home with Misty so that made it even more enjoyable
.
For Labor Day, we took our first, and probably only camping trip this year. We headed out to Farm Island Friday night and enjoyed a couple of days of life in the camper. Jamie had a great time… I think we’ll have to go more next year!
I’ll post a couple of photos from our camping trip soon!
Andy took these photos and I have some to upload soon as well – along with those go-cart photos I promised.

Congrats
To Derek… happy graduation! Wish we could have been there!
We finally had a nice day last weekend… it was so nice to go outside and play…

Jamie 2.0
Introducing Jamie 2.0. Prospective launch date: April 5, 2009. I promise to not be like the software companies and push the date back!
The black peanut shaped thing… is not the baby, the baby is actually a little gray dot inside the black thing, which did not come through on the scan. More detailed photos to come in a couple of months.

Easter Pictures
Jamie had a good time on Easter. My family was here so he got to spend the day with both sets of grandma’s and grandpa’s as well as his two great-grandma’s and great-grandpa. Aunt Misty and Uncle Andy were there too. He was excited to look for eggs, although he did seem confused about why he was looking for them. It was fun!
Denver
Ryan and I are in Denver this week visiting friends. It’s been an awesome vaca. Jamie is home with the grandparents. We miss him A LOT, but it’s been nice to relax, too. Yesterday I actually read a book and took a nap while the guys played video games and Jeannie was at work. WOW! We went to a Nuggets game on Sunday night, which was so much fun! We’ve had tons of good food too… and I got to visit my favorite coffee shop – Peet’s! YAY! Tomorrow we are going to take a tour of the DU campus where Derek is taking master’s classes. I’ll post pictures when I get home (when we’re done playing with Jamie).

The Bulldogs
We haven’t been very good at getting the camera out and taking pictures of Jamie. He has been busy playing and trying to get outside as much as possible. He always wants to play basketball.
Tonight, Ryan went to Andy’s to watch wrestling and I listened to my HS alma mater play basketball on the radio. They won a game that will send them to the state tournament this weekend. Pretty cool. Attached is a good luck to our friend, Mary – who is playing! We’re excited that she gets to go!![]()
Trying out wordpress…
Please bear with us… Thanks!
